"Walk on the straight and narrow path, and when God puts someone on your path show them Christ"
After Jesus told the story of the good Samaritan to the lawyer He said to him in Luke 10:36-37 "So which of these three do you think was neighbor to him who fell among the thieves?" And he said, "He who showed mercy on him." Then Jesus said to him, "Go and do likewise" - That is how this ministry was born. We (my family and I) were in Ghana Africa and when the Lord would put someone on our path we would show them love – the love of Christ (check out our video). We would do all we could to help them, from helping someone to start a small business so that they can raise money to support their family, or help raise support so that someone could attend school, we would supply bibles to new believers and we also bought a small parcel of land so that someone could grow produce to support them and others. We don’t just give the money we loan the money in the sense that they are to set aside a small portion of the money they earn until they have the amount given them – then they are to invest/loan that money to help someone the Lord puts on their path.
Our heart and desire is to help brothers and sisters who have a heart for the lost, we encourage them in the Word, we disciple them and we help them obtain the tools so they can put bread on their table and reach the lost. "If anyone has material possessions and sees his brother in need but has no pity on him, how can the love of God be in him?" 1 John 3:17 NIV
Serving Christ by Showing Christ is what the Lord calls us to do, you cannot be Showing Christ without serving someone. Showing Christ is imitating Christ and pointing to Christ.
